These Terms govern how employers, recruiters, and organisations use Vacancy.ng for lawful recruitment and talent discovery.

1. About Vacancy.ng

Vacancy.ng is a Nigeria-based job discovery and recruitment platform that connects employers with job seekers across industries and locations in Nigeria, with tools for posting jobs, managing applications, and optional talent scouting.

2. Employer Eligibility

  • You are legally authorised to recruit, hire, or represent an organisation.
  • Information submitted during registration is accurate and current.
  • You will use Vacancy.ng only for lawful recruitment purposes.

Vacancy.ng may verify employer details at any time.

3. Account Registration & Responsibility

  • Employers must register to post jobs and access employer tools.
  • You are responsible for your login credentials and account activity.
  • Vacancy.ng is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from employer negligence.

4. Job Posting Policy (Free for Employers)

  • Job posting on Vacancy.ng is free of charge.
  • Listings must be genuine, lawful, non-discriminatory, and non-exploitative.
  • Employers must not request money or fees from job seekers.

Vacancy.ng may edit, suspend, or remove any violating listing.

5. Talent Scouting & Candidate Search Services

Optional scouting tools may include candidate search, profile browsing, advanced filtering, shortlist management, and enhanced candidate information access.

6. Fees for Talent Scouting Services

  • Job posting remains free.
  • Scouting and premium tools may be paid, where clearly disclosed.
  • Paid services remain optional and not mandatory for posting jobs.

7. Payments & Access (Where Applicable)

  • Payments are processed through approved secure platforms.
  • Vacancy.ng does not store employer card or banking details.
  • Access is enabled after successful payment.

For access issues after payment, contact support@vacancy.ng. Paid scouting services are generally non-refundable except for system error or approved administrative exception.

8. Use of Candidate & Employer Information

  • Vacancy.ng may display and promote your job listings across approved channels.
  • Company name and logo may be used for branding unless opted out.
  • Candidate data may be used only for recruitment purposes.
  • Candidate data must not be sold, scraped, or misused.

9. Candidate Applications & Employer Responsibility

Vacancy.ng facilitates discovery and applications only. Employers remain fully responsible for screening, interviewing, selection, and hiring outcomes.

10. Prohibited Activities

  • Fake or misleading listings
  • Unauthorized fee collection from job seekers
  • Harassment, discrimination, or exploitation
  • Non-recruitment misuse, spam, or malicious uploads

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

Vacancy.ng may suspend or terminate employer access without notice for violations, and may remove listings to protect job seekers and platform integrity.

12. Limitation of Liability

Vacancy.ng is not liable for employer-candidate disputes, hiring outcomes, recruitment business losses, or service interruptions beyond reasonable control. Services are provided on an “as-is” basis.

13. Amendments to Terms

Vacancy.ng may revise these Terms at any time. Continued platform use means acceptance of revised terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

15. Acceptance & Checkbox Consent

By checking the box labeled “I agree to the Employers Terms & Conditions of Vacancy.ng”, you provide legally binding electronic consent and confirm understanding that job posting is free while optional talent scouting services may attract fees.
